Laura Koller is the finance director at Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center in Bridgewater, NJ.  Prior to taking this role at the Center in February of 2017, Laura was practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in the Outpatient Department there.  She still maintains a small private practice providing psychotherapy to clients.

 

Prior to returning to school to earn a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Mental Health at the College of Saint Elizabeth, Laura enjoyed a 17+ year career in the financial services industry.  Laura worked at Bear Stearns in New York where she traded bonds, until she moved to London to help build up the firm’s European fixed income division.  Upon her return to the U.S., Laura oversaw operations and risk for a small brokerage firm where she ultimately served as Chief Operating Officer and Y2K Project Manager.  After a five year hiatus to stay at home with her two young children, Laura went back to work overseeing the Risk Management Team at a hedge fund where she held various leadership roles on the management team.

 

In addition to the Master’s degree Laura earned in 2012, she received a BA in Economics from Wellesley College in 1983. Laura has an extensive history of volunteer activity including work at The Covenant House (New York, NY), Literacy Volunteers of America (Flemington, NJ), Safe In Hunterdon (Flemington, NJ), The Women’s Club of Tewksbury Township (Oldwick, NJ), The Hunterdon County Municipal Alliance at Voorhees High School (Glen Gardner, NJ) and The Tewksbury Township Board of Education (Califon, NJ).
