Frank Lovell is currently the Clinical Director for the Freedom House. Frank previous worked at Freedom House from 1988 to 2001. Frank has received many awards dating back to 1990 from Hunterdon County Board of Social Services for his work at Freedom House.  Then in September of the same year he was recognized by the State of New Jersey for Board and Care Recognition Month.

Frank was certified in 1991 as a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) through the American Academy of Health Care Providers.  In March of 1994, Frank became the first graduate of Freedom House to become a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor..  In 2003 Frank was presented the graduate achievement award from the Freedom House as well. In 2005 Frank became a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and in 2006 he became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CASC) in New York.

Prior to this position, He worked at Villa Veritas Foundation for 11 years as the Manage Care Coordinator. In 2003 Frank worked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Mazzoni Center working with substance abuse in the GLBTQ community. Frank has done professional work with Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center and Domestic Violence programs in Hunterdon, Warren, and Sussex County.

Frank’s professional life extents over 29 years.  Giving back to the community has always been a big part of his life, he has done this by being a recovery coach and teaching through lectures, workshops, and conferences, helping people tap into their hidden potential in recovery.  Frank has many fond memories of his mentor and guide Terry Herriott who is the Founder of Freedom House and looks forward to bringing his wisdom and experience to the outpatient program.
