Freedom House welcomes resident referrals from doctors, hospitals, sponsors, and municipal agencies for those in need of alcoholism treatment or a drug addiction treatment center. - Freedom House requires a willingness on the part of the prospective resident to commit to a year in our drug and alcohol treatment center.
- Freedom House requires the prospective resident to be a minimum of 18 years of age and not attending high school.
- Freedom House requires prospective residents to secure and maintain full time employment during their drug – alcohol rehab program and be ready, willing, and able to work.
- Freedom House requires prospective residents to secure blood tests, medical exams, communicable disease testing, and others that may be added as a result of the pre-admission interview prior to admission.
- Freedom House does not accept residents that are on drug therapy to stabilize moods or behavior.
- Freedom House requires residents to pay for their entire medical and other health needs during their stay.
- Freedom House does not accept residents that have on-going medical problems that will detract from the resident’s ability to participate fully in the drug rehab or alcoholism recovery program.
- Freedom House requires prospective residents to submit to a telephone screen interview, a one-hour in-person interview and whatever conditions may be placed upon acceptance.
- Freedom house requires prospective residents to meet level III.1, under the ASAM placement criteria.
