Long Term Residential Treatment/Halfway House for Men

About Freedom House

Freedom House provides long-term residential treatment in a halfway house setting (ASAM PPC Level 3.1) to adult males who are recovering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction, and who are at high risk of relapse without further treatment.

Freedom House provides room, board, substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment services, life skills training and education, job seeking skills and assistance with job search, and all transportation to and from work, court appearances, etc. Freedom House has professional, credentialed staff providing individual, group, and family sessions.  The facility is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Residents are also introduced to Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous through regular attendance at meetings.  Residents are required to adhere to the house schedule at all times, and special privileges such as a weekend pass or a single-man room must be earned.

Freedom House uses evidence based practices and methods to bring about changes in individuals and achieve the best possible outcome.  The phased program at Freedom House, where residents’ actions are closely monitored and any privileges must be earned, restores the Faith that positive change can come about, instills the Hope for a better tomorrow, and the Trust that the recovery process works!
